I just found an interesting add-in for Microsoft Office Word and Excel, an add-in which will enable you to generate barcode from data in Microsoft Excel and Word programs with easy way. You don’t need any barcode software or online barcode generator. After you have installed the plugin it will create a new tab in the ribbon menu which provides options to convert your data to barcode characters.
Barcode add-in for Microsoft Word and Excel can be used in Ms Office 2010, 2007 and 2003. How to use this plugin?
1. Download barcode add-in for Microsoft Office and then install it to your PC
2. Run Ms Word or excel program and open your data
3. Select the data you want to convert to barcode. In excel you can quickly select all data in row or column and convert them to barcode.
4. Go to Add-Ins tab in the ribbon menu, there are some types of barcode in the toolbar (Code-128, Code-39, Code-39Mod43, I2of5, EAN-8, UPC-A and more…).
5. Simply hit the button of the desired barcode type to generate barcode.
