How to convert PDF format to Microsoft word document (doc)? Actually in the past discussion I have covered an utility that has an ability to extract characters from PDF documents and save it to word format, which named freeOCR. But this time I would like to introduce a simple software from hellopdf, called Free PDF to Word Doc Converter (freeware) that exclusively built for converting text from PDF document to Microsoft Word / WordPad format. Although it’s rare for us doing this thing, but I’m sure someday you’ll need PDF to word converter.

Not only free, this freeware is also easy to use and has a simple user interface. Download Free PDF to Word Doc Converter freeware and install it to your computer. To start using PDF to Word Converter simply input your PDF document and specify the output path / folder. In the general options you can customize which pages you want to convert, choose whether you want to retain shapes images and uses text-box, or change the default font. Don’t forget to select the output formats (Ms Word or WordPad). Once all sets you are ready to convert PDF to word doc / wordpad, and finally hit convert to word document button!
However there are some cons on this freeware, first it doesn’t support batch converting and second, you can not perform conversion if the PDF has password protection (or other protection such as copy, select and print restriction). So make sure you have remove PDF restrictions before you use free PDF to Word Converter.
