Gmapcatcher is a free program to view online maps, plus it is able to download or capture online maps so you can view maps on offline mode. Run the program, and then type the location in the input query box (ie. Jakarta, Indonesia)

Gmapcatcher will show the map that match with your input location. You can zoom in / out, drag and set the center point on the map interface. Hit download button – set width and height (in kilometers), zoom and the center point of area (longitude and latitude) – and click download button to save Google map into your computer.
