HTC 7 Surround Windows Phone (AT&T) is another world’s first smartphones that employs Windows Phone 7. As many of you know, this handset will be available for shipping on this early November. Everybody’s waiting for it, if you are interested now you can pre-order the phone via Amazon US. Update: now also available on Best Buy (price: $199.99 with 2-year contract). Previously I have covered AT&T’s Samsung Focus, the HTC Surround uses the same service, operating system and most features & technical specs are almost the same but of course there are some differences.
Every device has its pros and cons. The HTC handset comes with a 3.8-inch touchscreen display (480 x 800 pixels) with proximity & light sensor – smaller than Focus and this is not AMOLED display, yet it still gives you plenty area to look, the graphic is also very good and capable of delivering stunning picture & video in high quality. HTC Surround Windows Phone 7 also boasts its great audio quality because it has SRS (surround sound) dual stereo speakers + microphone with Dolby Mobile technologies. Its multimedia capabilities are not bad after all.
